Two dudes playing in separate bands through the mid-00’s reconnect in the comments sectionof a Teklife video.

“We should catch up.”

They catch up.

A 5 hour production session ensues in a kitchen.

The result is a new track, ‘will2try’.

“Should we just upload it?”

They upload it.

The following week, the track begins receiving radio play.

The following month, UK producer Star Slinger hears the track.

In 2017, the duo will release their debut EP Nu Media on Star Slinger’s label Jet Jam.

The pair make brash electronic music, frenetic as it is colourful, childish yet seasoned.

Nu Media covers some expansive territory in just 3 tracks - a bass music ballad, a jungle-inspired heater ripped straight out of an N64, and a dreamy trip-hop number, all bound by an appreciation for 90’s pop, Chicago footwork and experimental music.

Early single ‘will2try’ received radio spins around the world & blog praise within weeks of uploading, followed soon after by a remix by Kool A.D. (ex - Das Racist).

Nu Media will drop in April 2017.
